2010 Shelby GT500 Mustang Caught in Detroit
Spy photos here capture the 2010 Mustang. While many of us already now a newly revised Mustang is coming for 2010, we can only speculate if Shelby will continue to offer their version. These new photos discover a hidden treasure, a masked 2010 Mustang with the trademark Shelby snake on the steering wheel. Now we wait to speculate of details until an official press release is made. One of the biggest questions, what engine can be found in the 2010 Shelby GT500 Mustang? The new engine most assuredly would house 500+ horsepower, quite possibly using the new 6.2 liter Hurricane motor. While Ford is content with the nostalgic straight axle rear, Dodge and Chevy are using a more performance handling independent rear, will Ford or Shelby indicate this change?
The introduction of a revised Mustang will help continue their successful retro-look sales figures. While the Dodge Challenger and Chevy Camaro are running hot on the heals to share in the Mustang's success, Ford is already gearing for round two.
